An Undistracted Moment From the Mat

Let's face it, we are surrounded by movement. Activity abounds and our senses could be bombarded from the moment we rise until the time we turn in...if we allow that to happen. 

Finding undistracted moments to practice yoga gives us the opportunity to linger in the pause between the breaths, sit in peace, nourish that which needs nourishment, and discover the inner voice that is the wellspring of our power. Those moments present themselves randomly throughout the day for most people. But for many of us, the most undistracted stretch of time arrives in the morning, shortly after we wake. 

Consistently using these sweet, quiet moments for yoga practice is a fantastic way to cultivate a daily habit that will serve you well throughout the entire day. The effects of practice linger and provide the tools to face challenges with mindfulness rather than chaos.
