Chatting today with author Kim Turner about writing, books, movies, and The Gingerbread Man, her upcoming release in The Wild Rose Press' Christmas Cookies Series. 

Welcome to the blog today, Kim! Let's get right to the questions because I know lots of people are looking forward to getting to know you. 

When did you realize you wanted to write? 

Probably around 8 years old. I wrote poems and short stories. I was always excited in class when the teacher wanted an essay on something. 

What's the best part of being an author? 

When readers are excited about the story and let you know. 

Do you have a favorite movie? 

A League of Their Own. I loved my young years playing ball. 

Do you have a favorite book? 

Why pick one?

Are there any book characters who have stayed with you long after you've finished reading the book? 

I enjoyed listening to the entire Outlander Series on Audible. Took me 16 months while driving to and from work.
